Current Reporting Status for Washington Capitals Return to Medstar Capitals Iceplex

Here is the latest update on which Capitals players have already begun reporting to Medstar Capitals Iceplex, and the known scheduled arrival times for those on their way back or sue in town this week. 

EARLY BIRDS
Those who have already begun reporting to Medstar Capitals Iceplex include: John Carlson, Nicklas Backstrom, Evgeny Kuznetsov, Lars Eller, Braden Holtby, Pheonix Copley, Shane Gersich, Jonas Siegenthaler, Nathan Walker and Tobias Geisser.

ON THEIR WAY

Ilya Samsonov is already in town, and will likely begin reporting to Medstar Capitals Iceplex on Tuesday.

Jakub Vrana is flying back to Washington on Tuesday and will likely report to Medstar Capitals Iceplex on Wednesday.

Connor Hobbs and Mason Mitchell began his long drive from Regina late last week, and will likely report to Medstar Capitals Iceplex on Tuesday.

Axel Jonson-Fjallby has stated in interviews he is scheduled to arrive in September 4. It’s not clear if that is his travel day or first day at Medstar, but should be reporting by Wednesday.

Max Kammerer has arrived in DC and will likely begin reporting on Tuesday, September 4.

Prospect Showcase – All prospects that are scheduled to participate in the upcoming Prospect Showcase in Estero, Florida this weekend should be in town by Wednesday or Thursday. More on the Propsect Showcase, to take place this Saturday through Monday (September 8-11) is here. The Capitals have yet to release any additional information regarding rosters for the showcase.

Washington Capitals 2018 Training Camp is scheduled to start on September 13.

Pre-season games begin on Sunday, September 16 at Boston. The first home preseason game is against the Bruins on Tuesday, September 18th.
