A majority of the Washington Capitals players and their significant others spent part of their day-off hosting a charity event for the Make-A-Wish foundation. The event, “Wish Upon A Par“, gave Caps fans a chance to mingle with players, as well as team-up with players in games at Loudoun County’s Top Golf. NoVa Caps photographer Joseph Noyes was on hand to capture some of the images from today’s event.
Karl Alzner, Nicklas Backstrom, Andre Burakovsky, John Carlson, Taylor Chorney, Brett Connolly, Philipp Grubauer, Marcus Johansson, Matt Niskanen, Brooks Orpik, T.J. Oshie, Nate Schmidt, Justin Williams, Tom Wilson and Daniel Winnik and Alumnus Rod Langway particpated in today’s event.
MAKE A WISH
Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. Make-A-Wish Mid-Atlantic serves children who reside in central and southern Delaware, the District of Columbia, Maryland and Northern Virginia.

Great event. Stock taps to the Caps (most of them) for giving back on their day off.
