While the Capitals’ Wednesday night contest against the Boston Bruins would no doubt be a difficult matchup, right wing T.J. Oshie has had himself one heck of a night already, with two goals in the second period. While his first was a reward for his ever-present hard work ethic, the second was a downright beauty.
With one goal already to his name on the scoresheet, Oshie took a pass from Evgeny Kuznetsov in the neutral zone and put a corralled the puck on his stick before putting on a head-fake on Boston defensemen Connor Clifton and dancing his way to a sparkler of a goal.

The goal was Oshie’s second of the night and came at the 8:05 mark (his first came at the 4:35 mark) of the second period to give the Caps the lead. The goal was his 13th of the season and gave the tenacious winger his second mult-goal game of the season and 27th of his career.
T.J. Oshie gives the Caps a 2-1 lead with his second goal of the game. That’s his 27th career multi-goal game and his second of the season.
