The Washington Capitals announced on Saturday morning that they have sent forward Shane Gersich down to the AHL’s Hershey Bears and have placed forwards Liam O’Brien and Riley Barber on waivers with the intention of also sending them down to Hershey.

The Capitals are now down to 15 forwards, nine defensemen, and two goalies. You can find the updated training camp roster here.
