After scoring a hat trick in a game against the Springfield Thunderbirds on Sunday, Hershey Bears forward and Herndon, Virginia native Joe Snively notched two more goals and picked up an assist in a 5-4 victory over the Syracuse Crunch on Saturday.
Snively’s first goal of the game and fourth of the 2021-22 season came at the 11:25 mark of the first period, with assists credited to Bobby Nardella and Mike Sgarbossa on the power play.

Snively’s second of the contest and fifth goal of the season came at the 8:23 stanza of the second frame, on assists from Nardella and Garrett Pilon.

In the shootout, Snively scored five-hole to keep the Bears’ chances alive and eventually secure the victory.
Snively now has five goals and nine points in 12 Games Played, with all five goals coming in his last three games played. In his three-goal performance on Sunday, Snively converted on three of his four shots in the game, and in tonight’s game scored on two of his six shots (33%).
After the game, Snively was named the First Star of the Game with his two-goal, assist performance.
