Capitals Recall Daniel Carr, Michael Sgarbossa From Taxi Squad; Loan Connor McMichael, Brian Pinho To Taxi Squad

The Washington Capitals announced prior to their game against the New York Islanders on Tuesday night (7 PM ET, NBCSN nationally, NBC Sports Washington locally) that they have assigned centers Connor McMichael and Brian Pinho to the taxi squad and recalled center Michael Sgarbossa and forward Daniel Carr from the taxi squad.

Sgarbossa skated with the Capitals’ fourth-line during Tuesday’s morning skate and is expected to suit up against the Islanders.
