While the MLB has had COVID-19 problems since its 2020 season started last week, the NHL announced on Monday afternoon that no players have tested positive for the virus in the past week. 4256 tests were given among 800 players from July 18-25.

Teams arrived at the bubbles for the 2020 Stanley Cup Playoffs in Toronto (Eastern Conference) and Edmonton (Western Conference) on Sunday and players got tested as they arrived at their hotels. All players will get tested daily.

Only two players tested positive in the first week of the NHL’s return-to-play plan’s phase three.
