Center Evgeny Kuznetsov and goaltender Ilya Samsonov each skated ahead of the Washington Capitals‘ optional practice on Sunday. Both players were placed on COVID-19 protocol. Kuznetsov entered it on May 4 and Samsonov did on May 7.
