The Washington Capitals have Monday off following their 4-3 shootout loss to the Buffalo Sabres in their preseason opener at Capital One Arena on Sunday. The team returns to training camp activities on Tuesday in preparation for their second preseason game on Thursday, hosting the Detroit Red Wings at Capital One Arena (7 PM ET; Monumental Sports Network locally, NHL Network nationally).     The Stingrays acquired defenseman Cole Fraser from the Toledo Walleye in exchange for the rights of defenseman Matt Anderson. Fraser, 24, joins the Stingrays for his second stint with the team.
