Today’s move corresponds with yesterday’s call-up of Mike Sgarbossa and Garrett Pilon from the Hershey Bears to the Washington Capitals taxi squad. The maximum limit of the taxi squad is five players.
Capitals head coach Peter Laviolette said in his post-practice media availability on Tuesday that the team would be cycling players to get them some game action in Hershey as well as give other players the opportunity to practice with the team.

I like the Sgarbossa and Pilon moves to the Caps. I’d really like to see Pilon in a Caps game to see how it goes.
