Isn’t there a rule against dropping your gloves the way Frederic did, twice last night?
I thought so too… I’d say $5K well spent given Ovi’s paycheck.
So thier’s an old phrase in pro wrestling called “giving a receipt” basically means when somebody screws up doing something they get “paid back” for it later. Why was Ovie so “chicks**t” to drop his gloves & settle up the right way!! As great thinker Denis Lemiuex from Slapshot would say “.., just some dumb (insert Russian for English) pig that doesn’t know any better!” Thought Ovie knew that part of The Code!!
I think Frederic’s goal/role in the game was to antagonize certain players. The Capitals are too seasoned a team to fall into those type of rookie traps. Caps won the game. Now, if time permits tonight, and the game is decided, or even in a subsequent, less-meaningful game down the line, I’d almost bet Frederic will get something back.
