Washington Capitals forward Andre Burakovsky, who has just one assist in his past 10 games, will be a healthy scratch for the team’s game at the Boston Bruins on Thursday night. Action from TD Garden will begin at 7 PM and can be seen on NBC Sports Washington.
With Burakovsky out of the lineup, center Travis Boyd will take his spot on the third line and center Nic Dowd will also draw into the lineup. Defenseman Madison Bowey and forward Dmitrij Jaskin will also be scratched against Boston tonight.

In other news, the Capitals’ next opponent, Columbus Blue Jackets, who they will play on Saturday, will be without goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky in their game against the Nashville Predators tonight as it appears there have been some problems between the team and player, who can become an unrestricted free agent July 1 and is non-commitment towards his future in Columbus.

Capitals center Lars Eller did not comment on what will happen tonight with Bruins forward Brad Marchand after Marchand started punching Eller in the face at the end of the last meeting between the two teams, a 7-0 Capitals win on October 3.
Eller had no comment on what to expect between him and Marchand tonight.

Which Caps player will fight Marchand? Not Wilson, he will be occupied with Torry Krug or Kevan Miller. Gosh — will Zdeno Chara challenge Wilson to a hockey fight? … Maybe it will be Eller or Smith-Pelly to scrap with Marchand. That leaves Brooks Orpik without a dance partner. Maybe David Backes would drop the gloves with #44
AB is gone, just time til then… Package him with a young left D and maybe a draft pick for yound solid right D
