The New PwC Club At Capital One Arena Is Open, and It is Fabulous

Capital One Arena got a major facelift this summer, and while much of the work was completed in time for the Capitals‘ first preseason game (you can find photos of some of the arena renovations here), the new PwC Club remained shrouded behind tarps until last night’s game against the Carolina Hurricanes. Of all the upgrades unveiled so far, the PwC Club renovation is by far the most dramatic.

Gone are the low tables that ran the length of the seating area. Instead, the tables have disappeared and the individual seats have been switched out for larger lounge-type chairs with plenty of cushioning, their own tray for eating meals, and a cup holder. Each seat also features its own USB port for charging your devices.

The club also added a new third row of barstool seating that includes tables and electrical outlets.

In addition, the club revamped the dining area with new high-top tables and stools.

The club now features four different culinary stations along with a pizza oven and a dessert station.

The main bar has been redesigned and a second bar has been added at the other end of the club.

Finally, the club has ADA seating for those with disabilities. Those seats also include a table and electrical outlets.

Agree that PwC is appointed nicely. However, closing operations (no food or drink service) when the 3rd period starts is ludicrous. No adult beverages leaving after the 3rd starts is OK, but not being open post game, or for playoff overtime, which has been customary since the building opened 20 years ago, is simply stupid !!! Every patron should complain !!!!!
