As if the approach of the 2022-23 NHL regular season wasn’t reason enough to be excited, TJ Oshie and his family have one more reason to look forward to the coming campaign, as he and wife Lauren announced they are expecting their fourth child.
In a video posted to Instagram, TJ and Lauren announced that they are expecting their fourth child and third daughter in a reveal to daughters Lyla (8) and Leni (6). “Can’t exactly hide it anymore…Baby Oshie #4 coming January”, reads the caption.
The couple are also the parents of son Campbell (2), who was born a day apart from Washington Capitals defenseman Nick Jensen’s oldest son Enzo in March 2020. Center Nic Dowd and wife Paige are expecting their second child in January 2023 as well.
The Capitals acquired Oshie from the St. Louis Blues in a trade on July 2, 2015. The 35-year old right wing is entering the sixth season of an eight-year contract signed in 2017.
