Daniel Carr Returns To HC Lugano For The 2021-22 Season

Former Washington Capitals forward Daniel Carr has signed with his former club in the Swiss Hockey League. The 29-year-old forward has agreed to a one-year contract with HC Lugano.

Carr was signed by the Capitals to a one-year deal on October 11, 2020. He was subsequently loaned to Lugano HC in the Swiss Hockey League to begin the 2020-21 season. He recorded four goals and four assists in eight games played before being recalled by the Capitals for training camp in January.

Carr spent most of the 2020-21 season on the Capitals’ taxi squad. He played in six games for the Capitals, recording one assist.
