The Washington Capitals held a morning skate at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada in preparations for their first visit to see the Vegas Golden Knights since they hoisted the Stanley Cup there on June 7. Puck drop from the desert will be at 10 PM Eastern and NBC Sports Washington will have the coverage. Forward T.J. Oshie has started skating at MedStar Capitals Iceplex, according to head coach Todd Reirden. Oshie, 31, has missed the past seven games due to an upper-body injury (likely a concussion) and did not travel with the team on their three-game road trip. He is still labeled as day-to-day.
