The Washington Capitals will take on the Toronto Maple Leafs at Navy-Marine Corp Memorial Stadium on March 3, 2018. The two met in the first round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, which was won by the Capitals in six games.
The Capitals and Maple Leafs already met once this year on October 17. The Maple Leafs won that game 2-0 at Capital One Arena. These two teams will meet for the last time before the Stadium Series game on Saturday, November 25 at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto. That will be the Capitals’ first visit since they won Game 6 at the Air Canada Centre on April 24 and the lone time they go there this season.
The game will mark the first hockey game at Navy Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland. This will be the NHL’s ninth Stadium Series game. The tradition first began in 2014.
The Capitals are 2-0-0 in outdoor games, winning at Heinz Field 3-1 against the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 2011 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic and 3-2 at Nationals Park against the Chicago Blackhawks in the 2015 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic. This will be their first time in the Stadium Series.
The Maple Leafs are also 2-0-0 in outdoor games, winning at Michigan Stadium against the Detroit Red Wings 3-2 in a shootout in the 2014 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic and winning at BMO Field in Toronto 5-4 in overtime against the Red Wings in the NHL Centennial Classic this past year.

Not the most imaginative, as far as Caps logo is concerned.
