STAT OF THE DAY
Today’s stat of the day plots each of the Capitals skaters’ individual expected goals per 6o after 45 games played. [Click to enlarge].
To nobody’s surprise, Alex Ovechkin tops the list in individual expected goals per 60. In-season acquisitions Nicolas Aube-Kubel and Sonny Milano sit number 2 and number 3, respectively, which is truly impressive. Where would the Capitals be without them? That’s up for debate.
