During overtime of Game 4 between the Tampa Bay Lightning and Montreal Canadiens, City TV interviewed a fan watching outside of Bell Centre.
“They can definitely win the [Stanley] Cup if they win this game,” the fan claimed.
Moments before right wing Josh Anderson’s game-winning goal 3:57 into overtime, the fan replied “Well, before this game, I said Josh Anderson will score two times. He’s only scored once [so far] so [the] second one is coming and I think it’s going to come in overtime and I think it’s going to be Josh Anderson.”
While the reporter was in the midst of asking a follow-up question, Anderson won it to force a Game 5 at Amalie Arena in Tampa on Wednesday (8 PM ET, NBC) and the fan jumped and screamed with fellow Canadiens fans.
The Canadiens trail the best-of-seven series, 3-1.
