Hershey Bears Continue Point Streak in SO Thriller over Charlotte Checkers (Photos)

HERSHEY, PA — The Hershey Bears are en fuego! The Chocolate and White are now on a five game win streak and extend their point streak to 11 games tonight with a 3-2 SO win over the Charlotte Checkers.

Jonas Siegenthaler returned to Hershey from his callup in Washington and tied the game up with his first of the season at 1-1. With the extra attacker, Riley Barber notched his 20th goal of the season tying the game and forcing the overtime. Nathan Walker scored the lone goal in the shootout to help the Bears to victory. Our boy Vitek Vanecek came up big to help the Bears get this one done, stopping 32 of 34 shots.
