Hershey Bears Fall Short against Phantoms (Photos)

The Bears were undoubtedly looking for a little redemption after a big loss in Allentown last week, and they came close to that tonight, however, they unfortunately fell 5-4 in regulation against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms. Check out the full-game recap and keep scrolling for some photos for the game.

Pheonix Copley stretches out to make a save on the Phantoms’ Danick Martel.

Great save by the Phantoms’ goalie,  Dustin Tokarski.

More saves.

And a goal from John Albert!

You did it, John!

But the Phantoms take back their lead, making it 2-1 after one.

Ready for the second.

Glad that Boyder got his first NHL recall, but I’m also glad to have him back.

Winning face offs like a champ.

Takin’ a knee on the shot.

“C’mon he’s the one who did it.” – Travis Boyd, probably

Aaron Ness takes a shot but it’s blocked in front by the Phantoms’ d-men.

Prepping for the third.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

Bau scores to make it 5-3!
Breathe, Colby. It’s almost a tie game.

Aaron Ness makes it 5-4! But they couldn’t notch another one to push it to OT. Rematch on Saturday! Let’s do it. Go Bears!
