HERSHEY, PA – The Hershey Bears released their list of promotional dates for the upcoming 2017-2018 season. Notable on the list is the return of Bobblehead Night, which was not on the list last season due to the transition between Doug Yingst and Bryan Helmer. The popular giveaway will feature Hershey Captain, Garrett Mitchell.

Always a huge draw, the Garrett Mitchell bobblehead will be given to the first 5000 fans January 24. It is sponsored by UGI. That night will also feature the ever-popular Dietz and Watson Dollar Dog Night. Other Dollar Dog Nights include October 15, November 12, December 2, and March 4. Combined with $1 fills on sodas, the $1 hotdog nights make for a rather inexpensive night of entertainment.
Another popular draw is HersheyPark pass night. All fans in attendance on October 29, November 15, December 13, January 10, and January 20 at the Outdoor Classic will receive one-day admission to HersheyPark through July 31.
Jersey auctions once again appear often on the schedule. Hometown Heroes Night/USA Jersey Auction is November 11. Star Wars Night/Jersey Auction is January 7 after the game. There will also be a post-game jersey auction January 20 after the Outdoor Classic and a St. Patrick’s Day Jersey Auction after the game on March 17. Finally Jersey Off Our Back Night is April 15.
Other highlights include Labatt Pint Glass Night on December 23, WGAL and CommunityAid Teddy Bear Toss Night on December 3, Hall of Fame Night on December 16, and Fame Appreciation Night on April 14.
