Capitals Daily Report: “We’re In A Battle For The Playoffs”

The Capitals have made their way to Los Angeles following Thursday night’s loss to the Sharks in San Jose. The Caps and Kings do battle Saturday night at Staples Center. Puck drop is a dreadful 10:30 p.m.

PRACTICE:
On Friday the team held practice at the Toyota Sports Center, the Los Angeles Kings practice facility. As promised, Barry Trotz made significant changes to the Caps forward lines.

Trotz was asked about the changes after practice. “I think we’ve gone a little stale. We’re just not finding it.” Trotz said he designed the lines to have a scorer on every line. Trotz discussed the moves with the media following practice.

Alex Ovechkin was asked about the lines changes following practice on Friday. “I think the situation right now, it’s obviously not fun”.

  1. James Smith says:

These Lines are horrible. I love Trotz but leave the 4th Line Alone! And let The first Line work out the issues.
