During a power play early in the first period of Saturday night’s tilt with the Predators in Nashville, Oshie appeared to pull something while chasing the puck. He subsequently left the game and then proceeded down the Capitals’ tunnel and did not return.
Oshie looked to pull something chasing the puck in the O zone during the Capitals PP. Had to coast back when the Predators had their shorthanded chance and went to locker room.

Midway through the first period, Carlson left due to an awkward fall in the defensive zone. He played a seven-second shift afterward, but that would be it.
The Capitals announced during the first intermission that both Oshie and Carlson sustained lower-body injuries and were considered doubtful to return for the remaining forty minutes of play.
