The Capitals announced last Tuesday that Eller was placed in the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol. The 32-year-old made the trip to California, but missed the team’s morning skate at Honda Center prior to their game against the Anaheim Ducks.

Did he contract it there? I thought they had mandatory vaccinations and strict masking rules there?
It’s hard to say, he tested positive there and has remained there since.
He must be bored out of his mind, stuck in an Anaheim hotel for a week.
And he can see Disney Land from his window.
