Pens got real dirty tonight. Malkin fn chicken wing to head of Oshie, then early no call high sticks. Malkin better be suspended for that shit.
Holtby unreal, stood on his head. 41 of 42 faced. Oshie big part of the game, Heart&Soul. So glad he got the gwr after all the shit he battled through. Last but not least OV PP goal. Speaking of pp, if its was showing a little more urgency and being on point caps wouldve blown em out. The malkin gm misconduct on top of like 4 others, only connected on 1.

It was poetic justice that T.J. Oshie (who the Pens knocked out of the game not just once but twice) scored the game winning goal and in regulation. Great win for the Caps! Even if the Caps couldn’t seem to get their act together on their numerous power plays, with one important exception; i.e. their first goal. Passing wasn’t especially crisp today.

As one of my FB friends said, this game was the type the Caps would have probably lost to Pitt in the past. Outshooting Pitt but not able to outscore them.

Pens were certainly dirty. A rare game where I recall the Caps getting more PP’s than the Penguins did.

PIT the dirtiest franchise in NHL. They won many Stanley Cups by playing Kill-the-Goalie
