The 2018 Stanley Cup Champion Washington Capitals began there 100 days with the Stanley Cup with a visit to historical Washington, D.C., as Caps Video Analyst and lead analytics “whiz kid” Tim Ohashi had his day with the Cup. Ohashi started his day with an early morning visit to the Lincoln Memorial. Philip Pritchard, the “Keeper of the Cup”, who will tag along on each and every Capitals day with the Cup this summer, shared a photo of Ohashi’s visit via his Twitter account this morning.

Ohashi’s day included a private gathering at his home.
Ohashi also held a semi-open event at Gringos and Mariachis In Bethesda, Maryland. Unsuspecting Caps fans out for a simple taco where in for a treat on this day.

Capitals long-time Assistant Equipment Manager Woody Leydig will have his day with the Stanley Cup on July 3, then John Carlson will have his day on July 4th, before the Cup departs for Russia and a date with Alex Ovechkin.
