In the second period of last Thursday’s Capitals game against the Kings, Tom Wilson got hit in the face with a puck and left the game briefly. He came back in the third period and showed his toughness by playing in the next two games. After Wednesday’s practice, Wilson was joking around saying he was Harry Potter as his stitches between his eyebrows had that iconic lightning bolt shape similar to Potter’s scar.
“I like Harry Potter but I don’t like it that much. Got a lightning bolt on my forehead now so it’s kind of weird that happened. Hopefully I can heal it up. For now I guess I am a wizard,” joked Wilson.

Wilson also said that it felt like he got hit with a shovel. Needless to say, getting hit with a puck is a lot better than being hit with a spell casted by Voldemort.
