With the Capitals about to play a back-to-back set of game’s Friday and Saturday, Barry Trotz has decided to make a few changes to the lineup.
WASHINGTON
Barry Trotz confirmed that Taylor Chorney will make his first start of the season tonight against the Blackhawks. Nate Schmidt will be the healthy scratch.
Trotz said it was difficult to sit Schmidt. But Orpik has played so well, at evens and on the PK, it was the only way to get Chorney in.
