The Washington Capitals are looking to extend their win streak to four games when they take on the Tampa Bay Lightning for the first time this season. Here is what you need to know from Saturday’s morning skate.
Sonny Milano was on the ice well before the morning skate in a non-contact jersey. He will not play tonight, but he could return sometime after the three-day Christmas break.
Milano (upper body) is on the ice well before the morning skate in a no-contact jersey. So it’s probably safe to assume he won’t make his return until the other side of the three-day break for Christmas, which begins after tonight’s game vs. TBL. #Caps

Connor McMichael was on the ice in a normal jersey. He missed the last two games due to illness so he will make his return to the lineup.

Darcy Kuemper was not on the ice due to maintenance. Charlie Lindgren is expected to make his second straight start after his 34 save performance against the Columbus Blue Jackets. Kuemper is expected to backup.
Puck drop against the Lightning is slated for 7 p.m. at Capital One Arena.
