The Washington Capitals have placed forward T.J. Oshie on injured-reserve with a lower-body injury. Oshie was a late scratch ahead of the Capitals’ Sunday night matchup with the Carolina Hurricanes. It is unclear what the injury is or when it took place.
Oshie scored his second goal of the season on Saturday against the Nashville Predators and has already missed a lot of time due to other injuries. Oshie has four points (two goals, two assists) in 21 games this season.
Oshie has been placed on IR with a lower body injury, per the #Caps.
