T.J. Oshie Set To Return, Charlie Lindgren Will Start Against Rangers: Notes From Capitals Morning Skate


The Washington Capitals will take on the New York Rangers for a Metropolitan Division showdown at Capital One Arena. Here is what you need to know from Saturday’s morning skate. 

T.J. Oshie will return to the lineup after missing the last six games due to an upper-body injury. He will replace Hendrix Lapierre, who was sent down to Hershey on Saturday.

Charlie Lindgren will get his second straight start making 34 saves in the 5-4 shootout loss against the Dallas Stars. He will face off against his brother, Ryan Lindgren, for the first time in his career.

Max Pacioretty was once again on the ice in a non-contact jersey and ramping up the pace with skills coach Kenny McCudden.

The Caps host the Rangers at 7 p.m. at Capital One Arena.
