The (#2) Hershey Bears took care of business on Thursday night, beating the (#3) Charlotte Checkers 6-2 and clinching their best-of-five Atlantic Division semifinals series, three games to one. The only question remaining, who would they face in the next round of the 2023 Calder Cup Playoffs?
That question was answered Friday night after the (#5) Hartford Wolf Pack beat the (#1) Providence Bruins, 4-0 in Hartford. The win clinches their semifinal series, three games to one. They will face the Bears in the Division finals.
The #2 Bears will have the home ice advantage over the #5 Wolf Pack in their best-of-five series, which begins Thursday, May 11, in Hershey. Tickets go on sale at 10AM on Saturday, May 6 at Ticketmaster.
