The Washington Capitals announced that forward T.J. Oshie will not play on Sunday against the Carolina Hurricanes due to a lower-body injury. Oshie scored his second goal of the season on Saturday against the Nashville Predators.
Matthew Phillips will slide back into the lineup on the right side with Evgeny Kuznetsov and Joe Snively. The Capitals continue to be without forward Sonny Milano.
The Caps will take on the Hurricanes at 6 p.m. at PNC Arena.
