Chase Clark Named Atlantic Hockey Goaltender Of The Week

Chase Clark was named the Atlantic Hockey Goaltender of the Week, for the week ending on Oct. 22, as announced on Monday afternoon by the league office. 

 The 2021 sixth-round pick played both games over the weekend at RIT and finished with a .923 save percentage after stopping 60 of 65 shots across the weekend. On Friday, he made 27 saves against 30 shots in a hard-fought, 4-2 loss.

On Saturday, Clark followed up with 33 stops against 35 shots to pick up his first collegiate win in a 5-2 Pios victory.

Clark has made 139 saves against 153 shots to post a .908 save percentage through the first four games of the season.

Sacred Heart (1-3-0, 1-1-0 AHA) is back in action this weekend, when it hosts Niagara on Oct. 27-28. Puck drop is set for 7 p.m. on Friday and 6 p.m. on Saturday at Martire Family Arena in Fairfield.
