Alexander Suzdalev Named To Team Sweden’s Roster For 2024 World Junior Showcase

The roster for the Washington Capitals 2023 development camp, set for July 1-5 at MedStar Capitals Iceplex, has yet to be officially released, but it’s highly likely that forward Alexander Suzdalev will be included. The week in Arlington will be just the start to his summer in the United States.

The Swedish National Junior Team will spend the end of July and beginning of August in Plymouth, Michigan, preparing for this December’s World Junior Championship. This summer’s trip to the U.S. will conclude with the 2024 World Junior Showcase, also to be played in Plymouth, Michigan.

Suzdalev, who will compete for a roster spot on Team Sweden for the 2024 IIHF World Junior Championship, will be part of the group that travels to states this summer. The Showcase, which will include teams from US, Finland and Sweden, serves as an evaluation for players seeking to make their respective national teams for the 2024 IIHF World Junior Championship
