The Washington Capitals made their way to Massachusetts immediately following their 5-2 victory over the New York Islanders on Monday night. They next face the Bruins in Boston tonight with puck drop scheduled for 7PM
The team did hold a gameday morning skate this morning due to the late travel and arrival in Boston. Capitals head coach Peter Laviolette met with the media when the team arrived at TD Garden this afternoon.
Alex Ovechkin will not play tonight against Boston, per Laviolette. He did not make the trip.
All of the players who missed last night’s win against the Islanders – T.J. Oshie, Nic Dowd, Trevor van Riemsdyk and Anthony Mantha – will also be out against the Bruins.
Sounds like Caps have “Bruin Flu”!!
They already had Bruins flu
This is going to be a track meet
