The Capitals returned to Kettler Capitals Iceplex Monday morning for their game day skate prior to Game 6 tonight. Puck drop is just after 8:00 pm.
Head coach Barry Trotz has once again made a few tweaks to the starting lineup and subsequent forward lines. Most notable, he has reinstated Andre Burakovsky, who was benched for Game 5. Burakovsky is now on the third line with Brett Connolly and centered by Lars Eller. The top line remains unchanged. Jakub Vrana moves up from the third line to the second line while Chandler Stephenson moves down to the fourth line.

Alex Chiasson, who was Burakovsky’s replacement in Game 5, looks to be the healthy scratch for Burakovsky’s Return. The defensive pairs remain the same for Game 6.
Burakovsky led the team in final stretches this morning at the end of practice.

Caps head coach Barry Trotz left an odd little nugget for the media at the end of practice.
More Trotz: “What you saw today (lines at morning skate) probably won’t stay that way…” Interesting.
