Hershey Bears Earn Two Points on the Weekend (Photos)

The Hershey Bears are going through a bit of a rough patch right now. Head Coach Troy Mann likes to take a season week-by-week and tries to win each one by earn three or more points on each 3-in-3.

This past weekend the Hershey Bears only earned two points on a double-header against the Lehigh Valley Phantoms and a lone Sunday game against the Binghamton Senators.

As always, let’s take a look at the Hershey Bears’ games in photos.

Saturday

Zach Sill is ready to pop in the rebound.

Christian Thomas and Aaron Ness continue their battles for the gang-up-on-the-goalie warm up goal.

On Saturday there was lots of goal celebrations.

And more goal celebrations.

And an Aaron Ness Flying V.

Everyone grab a friend…

And take them down. I think Malone had enough of Will O’Neill

Everyone is angry, but not Christian Thomas. He’s just smiling.

O’Brien nearly misses a goal.

But it’s ok because Stanislav Galiev has your back. I love how they are celebrating in the crease and the Phantoms’ goalie is not amused.

The captain bleeds for his team.
Then gets stitched back up and is right back out there.

A warm embrace for Zach Sill, who seals the deal with the empty netter. 🙂

A much needed win for Da Bears.

Who wants Paul Carey’s stick?

Sunday

The boys a reppin’ some new jerseys for Star Wars Night.

Darren Dietz modeling the Star Wars jersey.

How about a majestic Jakub Vrana photo? Yes or Yes.

I think this is their favorite part of warm ups.
Zach Sill dropping the mitts.

Followed by Nathan Walker mixing it up.

The Bears’ Aussie is pretty fiesty.

Vrana celebrates his goal at center ice.

When you miss the high five.

Chris Bourque misses on a breakaway opportunity.

I know this isn’t a Hershey Bear, but Senators’ d-man Michael Kostka decided he was going to come over to peep on the play that the Bears were drawing up. I’ve never seen a player do that before.

When your jersey bid goes over $2,000, and you’re pretty impressed.

Then you earn the highest jersey bid of the night racking up $2,600.

When your best friend (aka Vrana) embarrasses you by “bidding” on your jersey.
