Washington Capitals’ Peter Laviolette had a milestone night himself on Wednesday. After the Capitals defeated the Montreal Canadiens 6-3 at Capital One Arena, Laviolette passed Pat Quinn (684) for the 11th-most wins by a head coach in NHL history.
