Performance Bonuses From This Past Season To Cost Capitals $100,000 In Salary Cap Space For 2022-23
Due to defenseman Martin Fehervary ($80,000) and right-wing Brett Leason ($20,000) hitting benchmarks for performance bonuses this past season, the Washington Capitals will have $100,000 less wiggle room under the 2022-23 NHL salary cap.
