Any news if any of the guys papered to Hershey are able to come back tonight, like Lappy?

    • Prevent Defense says:

One Caps’ internet source said that all the optioned players were “brought back” four minutes after their assignments to Hershey

Bears lost last night 5-3 with Clay in the net (he stopped 31 of 35). They play Charlotte again tonight. Gibson in net? Clay back2back? Or is Hunter returning?

The Bears say: Before he could play a game for Hershey, forward Evgeny Kuznetsov was traded by the Washington Capitals to the Carolina Hurricanes ahead of yesterday’s NHL Trade Deadline. Hershey forwards Ethen Frank and Riley Sutter returned to the lineup last night after being sidelined by injuries. Hershey can punch its ticket to the postseason tonight if they beat Charlotte AND if Springfield loses in regulation to Toronto this evening. If those results were to occur, Hershey would be the first team to clinch a playoff berth this season, and it would mark the franchise’s 71st postseason appearance, the most in AHL history. Forward Matthew Phillips has joined the Bears and could make his Hershey debut this evening.

The defense was pretty bad last night. They did not keep the Checkers out of the middle over and over. Nothing really on Clay in that game. But Phillips should play tonight which might help on the other end.

Doesn’t’ get any better than this: Бостон Брюинз – 3 Питтсбург Пингвинз – 0

The “Sully Watch” is officially ON. With any luck Cindy’s Ladies will bow out disgracefully and $ukk for years

Boston beat Pits 5-1 this afternoon.

“I thought we had better energy. I thought we had more compete in our game,” Sullivan said. “I thought we had a great start. Our first probably seven or eight minutes was really strong. We had a couple of good looks.”

7 or 8 minutes does not win games.
