Photo: Patrick Smith/Getty Images The Washington Capitals defeated the New York Rangers by a score of 3-2 in a Saturday matinee at Capital One Arena. The win improved the Capitals’ record to 20-14-6 and 46 points on the season. Goaltender Charlie Lindgren made 24 saves in the victory.
