Eagle Ridge Hospital Foundation along with NHL brothers Ryan (Predators) and Lucas (Capitals) Johansen hosted the Ryan and Lucas Johansen Charity Golf Classic on Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at the Swaneset Golf and Country Club in Pitt Meadows, British Columbia.

The event included a morning patio party, amazing food and beverages, a networking dinner reception and the opportunity to golf with a NHL star. Ryan and Lucas also hosted a 1 hour autograph session between 10-11am on the day of the tournament, specifically for kids and youth. An Interview with the Brothers is here.

A new naming partnership with the Johansen brothers has rebranded this long-standing charity tournament, which has raised over $2.5 million to support the greatest needs of Eagle Ridge Hospital.

Lucas Johansen, the Washington Capitals’ first round draft pick in 2016, and big brother Ryan (of the Nashville Predators) spent a night last August raising money for local firefighters and the Red Cross.

The fundraising event was held at the Parkside Brewery in the Johansen’s hometown of Port Moody, British, Columbia – a suburb of Vancouver. The event raised a much-needed $2,000 for Port Moody Fire and Rescue and the Canadian Red Cross, who were busy last summer battling huge wild fires in southwest Canada. More here.
