Roster Management
Coach Trotz says any additional cuts won’t be announced until Tuesday, and will most likely be piecemeal. [@alex_prewitt]

Trotz said he expected any contractual decision with Derek Roy and his PTO to come after the final preseason game on Sunday.

Trotz said Jakub Vrana, Riley Barber, Christian Djoos, Tyler Lewington and Vitek Vanecek are headed to Hershey camp. Just informed them.  On other prospects still in camp (i.e. Bowey, Stephenson), Trotz said, “We feel they’re maybe further along in some aspects of their game.”

The Capitals roster currently totals 34.  The Caps will need to be down to 23 by October 6th.
