The Vikings (Johansson, Gustafsson, and Eller) pillaged and plundered NYC tonight.
Would be nice if he could pass Franz but 111 points at this stage of his career and being a UFA and his age this summer may pose a problem moving into the #1 slot. Im thinking at 33 it will take his 3 or 4 years to pass Franz.
Put it another way, Ovechkin is closer to Gretzky’s career goal total than Eller is to Nielsen’s.
The third line was great tonight including NAK. Wish he would put one in. Third line logged significantly more minutes (roughly 15) than second line (roughly 11 min). Except Kuzy who also got PP time. Itβs not a sexy line, but damn are they effective!
Sweet dangle Lars!
Ehlers is a far better player.
