Now You See Him Now You Don’t — Dmitry Orlov Activated From Injured Reserve; Dylan McIlrath Returned to Hershey

He’s back!!! Washington Capitals Defenseman Dmitry Orlov has been activated from Injured Reserve. He was injured during the game against the Arizona Coyotes on November 3 and has been out since then with a lower-body injury.

The injury initially was not believed to be serious. But, as time passed, he was placed on Injured Reserve. But with Alex Alexeyev’s injury in Friday night’s game, Alexeyev was also placed on Injured Reserve and defensemen Lucas Johansen and Dylan McIlrath were called up from Hershey. But now McIlrath has been returned to the Bears.

Ha, McIrath got yanked around like a yo-yo! Hope he enjoyed a brief stay at a top notch hotel room and all. Now it’s back to the trenches for him. Would love to see him back up should the Caps need some physical D man who’s willing to drop gloves. But getting Orly back on ice is great news!
