The Capitals host the Calgary Flames today at 2 p.m. at Capital One Arena for the first of two meetings between the teams this season. Washington has earned at least one point in six-straight games against the Flames (5-0-1).
Today’s game against Calgary marks first time in 13 games the #Caps will take the ice without any lineup changes (in/out, not within lineup itself, though there are none of those today, either) from the prior game. #CapsFlames

It is expected that Charlie Lindgren will get the start against the Devils tomorrow in New Jersey. Lindgren played vs. the Devils on Oct. 24 (38 saves in 6-3 victory).

Not going to game today. Will be in basement watching both Caps and USA! Still trying to recover from too much food yesterday!
Based on practice earlier this week looks like Protas will be out and NAK in. I prefer to see Mojo at 4LW and NAK at 3RW to balance out right sticks. Plus Mojo on 4th line has been most productive lineup since Beck went out.
I hate that Team USA also plays at 2PM! Oh, well, queue up the dual screens. Let’s go Caps and 🇺🇸!
Having lived in London where football (soccer) is a passion, I’m rooting for England. Sorry. But will be out doing yard work so any rooting of Caps or England will be in spirit. This is when I wished NBCSW was like Bally (or AHLtv or FloHockey) and had on demand replays of games.
What?!?! Rooting for England?!?! Smh.
Want to keep all my English friends. Soccer is to them what hockey is to me.
I don’t even know what to do with this Fyre! Hope you root for USA hockey at least.
Absolutely. I love hockey. Don’t really care about soccer so I’ll make my UK friends happy rooting for their teams. But hockey? USA all the way.
I got torched by our UK followers on Twitter for using the 🇬🇧 Flag instead of the 🏴 Flag. I think they were heated from the game. 🙄
And rightly so. England, Scotland, and Wales all have separate teams. Who won? (I know the caps did. Listened to the important game while working outside)
Nobody won 0-0 🙄
Well, it’s not a loss. I can remember the Rowdies, Diplomats, and Cosmos from the old NASL but once I found hockey and discovered that it was a lot more exciting, I stopped watching soccer. I know DC has a soccer team but couldn’t tell you the names of any others in the US.
Lavi is treading water until his real players can come back. No point in changing strategies or anything while the inferior players are in. Everything will be all right once the real players are back.
Am reading a lot of negative national press on Darcy, not just TNT’s announcers and analysts and fans here at NovaCaps. He made a couple of top 3 or top six problems around the league. And the articles were clear that they were focused on his play, not the Caps defense.
He better get it in gear.
Defense is going to be tested big time in the next 24 hours.
Lets talk about resigning Strome, Milano and Sheary….MJ?
Yes, yes, yes and………..
