After sitting on the sidelines at the NHL level for a large majority of start of the 2022-23 season, the Washington Capitals loaned former first-round pick Connor McMichael to the American Hockey League’s Hershey Bears to provide him with regular playing time and a chance to contribute.
On Wednesday night, McMichael scored his first goal since being loaned to the Bears, tying the Springfield Thunderbirds late in the second period of the contest.

Great news!
He needed it, Fyre.
Fantastic!! Play hard Connor and get back in game shape and mindset and get ready for next year!! OR maybe after the New Year if the team keeps going this way and there are a few trades!!
He needed that so much for his confidence, Druid. You could tell it was a load off.
So next year assuming Nick is back. We keep Strome. We can’t move Kuzy. Does that leave CMc in Hershey again?
Atta boy, Connor!
Very good
Love to see McMichael score. Have some fun young man!
