Did I hear right that this also added another goalie to his list?
Checking on that one.
Karel Vejmelka and Ovi played last April but Ovi didn’t score. They played Oct 2021 and Ovi scored an empty netter. I don’t find any other time he has played Ovi. But this is brute force research, no guarantees.
Thanks Fyre, I’m twirling plates from all appendages right now.
I haven’t read about another notch on his gun in any article, and Diane who knows all Ovi records hasn’t mentioned it, but I still can’t find where Ovi scored on Karel before. Just curious where he is in that record. How close is he to another pass?
Ovi is a loyal dude, I think this record says that the most. Really dig that about him.
No question.
It goes both ways. The organization has been loyal to him as well. Some hate that we committed to veterans but says a lot. Big picture i love what Ted and the Caps have done. Still need to figure some things out.
